Bangladesh vs India 2015, 3rd ODI Preview. It’s the last day of India’s short trip to Bangladesh as they clash in the final match of the ODI series on Wednesday. Bangladesh’s bowlers continue to face an uphill task against an Indian batting line-up which might just be the best in the business. This could make the hosts wish that they chase, more so since Dhaka is a venue which favours teams batting second especially in day-night matches. Thus, Mashrafe Mortaza and Shakib Al Hasan continue to hold the key with their experience and skills.
On the other hand, the Indians seemed to have used this tour to sharpen their bowlers, after their encouraging bowling performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Despite Mohammed Shami’s absence, India have managed to do well with able replacements in Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Dhawal Kulkarni. With the wet conditions and the ball zipping around in day-night games, the likes of Umesh Yadav and Mohit Sharma would look to continue taking full advantage of it.
Bangladesh’s ability to cause at least one upset win at home against India in the recent past continues to inspire them, while Dhoni and Co. look to end the series with a win which would begin their post-World Cup era in style. The home team might give Litton Das and Mustafizur Rahman an opportunity to make their ODI debut, also in the hope that they prove to be surprise elements. Dhaka’s weather for the third game in a row is expected to be the same, with the threat of rain being massive. It would be interesting to see if either of the captains change their strategies keeping this in mind.
