Brazil vs Peru 2015 Copa America

Brazil begin their bid to claim the 2015 Copa America crown on Sunday, when Dunga's in-form Selecao take on Peru in their opening group-stage fixture. Last year's World Cup hosts have been forced to wait their turn before getting their tournament underway, with fellow Group C participants Colombia and Venezuela facing off in Sunday's other pool clash. That wait is over, and one of the Copa America favourites is set to finally take centre stage. Read on for full viewing information and match preview ahead of the Temuco encounter.

Brazil's 1-0 win over Honduras on Thursday was far from the team's most glamorous result under Dunga, but the victory nevertheless extended the manager's 100 per cent record at the helm since being re-appointed last year. That streak leaves Dunga just two wins away from matching the record of 12 consecutive wins Aymore Moreira managed between 1961 and 1962 before going on to lead Brazil to the 1962 World Cup.Peru may not be the most difficult of opponents, but should the Selecao triumph on Sunday, it's fitting their potential record-equaling match will be a truly difficult one against Colombia on Wednesday, June 17. Neither Dunga nor his disciples will be distracted by such accolades, though, if they hope to surpass them, and as John Bennett of BBC Sport points out, memories of the 2014 World Cup should provide motivation.
